Caburn Hope has received a round of award wins at the Global Equity Organisation (GEO) ceremony in Boston, USA, for our work with Unilever on SHARES – a global all-employee share plan.
Beating world-class brands to the post, this tops a fantastic month for Caburn Hope who has also been selected as a finalist at the Employee Benefits Awards 2016 for our work with Quintiles, the world’s largest provider of product development and integrated healthcare services.
First-up in the award-winning GEO categories for Unilever and Caburn Hope is the highly prestigious and coveted ‘Best Plan Communication’. Based on content, coherency and style of message delivered, this award category looks for the most effective and appropriate communication methods and materials used in equity communications.
This was followed by another win for ‘Best Use of a Share Plan in an Emerging Market’. This award category highlights the best use in developing a successfully deployed global share strategy, including – or focussed on – an emerging market.
Both GEO awards pay tribute to the phenomenal work Caburn Hope and Unilever did on SHARES, the Global All-Employee Share Plan. A strategic game-changer in terms of designing and launching a highly detailed, globally-consistent, reward communication strategy that spans 104 countries and 50 languages.
Prior to SHARES, Unilever equity plans were only offered to around 3,000 executives, representing less than 2% of total employees. Now with SHARES, 128,000 employees are offered the chance to become shareholders and share in Unilever’s future!
Furthermore, Caburn Hope’s work on the Quintiles Reward Hub has been selected as a finalist for ‘best use of technology’ at the Employee Benefits Awards 2016.
The Hub is a first in the history of Quintiles – and the Benefits technology arena. No other website has been launched and integrated into employees’ everyday lives with such vigour. Enabling Quintiles to utilise – and maintain – the advantages of a third party benefit portal without leaving the Quintiles environment. The statistics on this project have been fantastic; equating to a 41% increase in YOY savings in NI alone.
The award ceremony will take place on 3 June 2016 at the Artillery Garden at the HAC, London. Watch this space for updates, news and more….
